Social ideas.... wow do my roommate and I (our chapter's social committee) have alot! Ok, so for starters, we all have to get recital attendance for our major or for class or something, so we get together before professional performances. This semester we had dinner before La Boheme and Brunch before Bach's Brandenburg Concertos. We also had a date function to a minor league hockey game. For homecoming we got a block for Gator Growl and had various bbq's during that time. Next semester we have formal with PMA, sisterhood spa night, a moonlight canoe trip date function and Fondue with Porgy and Bess (one of our Professor's Touring company is making a stop in town so we are going to go see her... she's an national arts associate). At the end of finals in may we are going to Music Midtown in Atlanta (an annual thing) and over the summer we do a ropes course or something of that nature. Plus we do lots of unofficial stuff, like tonight we went on a mini-road trip (drove for an hour and a half to see LOR Two Towers) or we have dinners at people's houses.
