Sim Civilization aka Sid Meier's Civilization (mine is version 2)- you pick a civilization, start out with a settler and build cities. Starting at 4000 BC, with the game ending 2020 AD, your cities build walls, you pick advances that give your civilization strengths (the great wall of china means that no one can succesfully declare war on you for instance, at least until the discovery of gunpowder), you pick forms of government. Pre-Sims, the most addictive game in the world (worse than sim tower). I advise you don't do it to yourself.

I can e-mail you the list of cheat codes I dl'd when I got the game (I didn't buy the sims, I got it off of Kazaa- that's why I love the internet!)
