Forgive me and let's move forward." BULLSHIT. I have no serious problem with what was said. I'm not oblivious to the fact that there are some racist people running our country. So I'm glad he put himself out there. I wish EVERYONE would. Let me know. All of a sudden he's cool because he apologized? And ALL OF A SUDDEN, he's going to do right by us on civil rights issues? WHATEVER. Whether he's put out of the position is not the issue, but it still needs to be talked about. Shall we ignore it? If he had his way, you'd still be separate and barely equal. What, he changed his mind? You know, we wouldn't have all the problems we've had if people had just followed the program. And you think we should let this go??? Strange fruit, indeed.
What, exactly, is the most important thing going on right now? I get SO sick of people using that cliche. So overlook the BULLSHIT because there is something else more important going on?
