Back in high school, I had a couple of teachers who often said amusing/semi-sarcastic things. I had both of these teachers during senior year. Over the course of the school year, I assembled lists of "Smithisms" and "Jonesisms", and on the last day of the year I presented each of them with the lists.
One of these teachers asked a girl who arrived 5 minutes late to class, "Was he good?"
He also referred to 9th graders as "hormones on legs" and to people who didn't pay attention in class or do their homework as "Future Gas-Pumpers of America".
