BRANDY AND HUBBY: Dynamic production duo.
(Dec. 16, 2002) *Brandy and hubby producer Robert Smith are making beautiful music together. Besides creating a new family, the two have also created some hit songs for popular acts like Toni Braxton and Destiny's Child's Kelly Rowland.
The couple share writing credits on the songs "Selfish" and "Always" on Braxton's CD "More Than A Woman" and on the song "Love/Hate" from Rowland's solo debut "Simply Deep."
The two apparently are in great harmony. They began working together musically on Brandy's latest set "Full Moon" and had such great "chemistry," Launch reports, that they decided to do outside projects together.
"Brandy writes on pretty much everything I do," Smith said. "She's an incredible writer. She tapped into it from just playing around with me. I was like, 'You're talented.'"
The writing and production duo are now hard at work on tracks for Brandy's next album.
