If you don't have any pictures of the 2 of you, then don't do a picture by yourself. That would definitely look egotistical to me. How long have you 2 been dating? If it's long enoughg to warrant sticking around through Christmas and buying a gift, I don't think this would be too "committed". I'm not saying frame a marriage proposal....
