I am talking about those things your friends say or have said that are just very funny at the right moment. We call them isms.

Like yesterday, my friends and I were walking down a crowded Michigan Ave. shopping. And our conversation turned loud and goofy when she said "I can't stay away from the penis" and the three people walking alongside of us started laughing their heads off, not having any clue what our conversation was about. That is now a Jeni-ism

Then a little later, my other friend Jamie takes a look at a sign that says "Jaipur, cuisine from India" and she says "I bet that is a Mexican restaurant."

About a year ago, we went out to eat at JBucks - a restaurant owned by baseball guru Jack Buck in St. Louis. And my same friend, who has lived near St. Louis all her life, is on the phone saying "Yea, we are at JBucks, named after the poet. I saw some poetry on the wall."
