The way I heard it was (and I got this from watching "Scariest Places on Earth"--my favorite!
) that the woman went missing for the longest time, and building was searched but no one could find her. Then, months later, they found her body in the tower. Supposedly, the outline of her body where it was lying on the floor is still there, and they say that if you touch that spot, something bad will happen...but I forget what.
Anyway, my campus has nothing as sensational as that, but I did hear that:
1) Some sort of poll listed UK as having the hottest guys in the country (which is probably not true, but judging by the scenery, it *could* be
); and
2) Th reason the doors on Whitehall Classroom Building are so amazingly heavy and hard to open is because the building was built in the late 60s and the doors were to prevent people from storming the building in case of a riot. Supposedly the steps leading down the hill to the Student Center were also built with the purpose of guarding against riots, because they're longer and flatter than regular steps.
