When I was little, I read books ALL the time, but I always got yelled at because I was sitting around reading when I could have been doing chores.
Oh, and I agree with you all who listed icky horrible GLASSES...mine were the absolute worst because they made me look like an owl! Those things, combined with the 80s hairdo that I thought was oh so stylish, did not make a pretty picture!
