OK, then. Back to the original thread...
I mentioned John Galbreath on the "most famous in your chapter thread."
Quickly, for those who didn't read it, the late Brother Galbreath was a national real estate tycoon who owned Kentucky Derby winner Darby Dan, and also (with his biological brother Dan) owned the Pittsburgh Pirates. Very well to do gentleman.
When Karnea, the Delt international conference, was in Columbus, Ohio several years ago, Brother Galbreath invited the entire group (just under a thousand, I think) out to his estate, Darby Dan Farms, for dinner.
I wasn't there, but have seen a picture -- pretty impressive.
Now, back off the original thread -- why do people find it necessary to use terms that are almost certain of offend? I can understand misunderstandings, but I will never condone the used of language which will purposely offend someone.
Grow up. Fraternity men are supposed to be gentlemen.
