Baseball Hall of Fame 2003 class

So, who would you vote for for the Baseball Hall of Fame this year?

My choices would be:
Eddie Murray - 500 home runs, 3000 hits, 3 Gold Gloves; as much of a lock as there can be.

Ryne Sandberg - one of the best-hitting second basemen ever, also an excellent fielder. His numbers at the position stand up to anyone's in the Hall.

Gary Carter - if Carlton Fisk got in, Carter absolutely has to. Won three Gold Gloves, put up extremely good offensive numbers, played hurt all the time, and was absolutely clutch in the 86 World Series. It's a travesty if he doesn't get in.

Burt Blyleven and Jim Rice: too close to call. I don't think Blyleven should be penalized for being consistent for so long, or that Rice for injuries cutting short his career. Both should be in.

What do you all think?
Collin
