Nowadays, I rarely wear makeup to work. Unlike some of my other reporting jobs, I don't really do any in-person interviews; my work is done on the telephone or by e-mail. Besides, my foundation costs over $30 a tube, so I need to be careful on how I use it.
I do, however, put on maquillage for special occasions, church, going out and for sorority business.
I'm pretty lucky in that I'm nearly 40 and don't truly need it.
