I do that too! Only I have to always end mine with a 0, like $10.30 or $15.70--no odd numbers allowed.
Also, when I parallel park (which I do several times a week as I have to leave my truck on the street when I'm staying on campus), my truck's tires have to be very close to, but not touching, the curb. I don't want to scuff my tires by rubbing them against the curb, but at the same time, I have nightmares about a speeding car flying by and taking my mirror off. My truck's bumpers must also be far enough away from the car in front and in back of it so that if the other person leaves, they can get out easily and not hit my truck in the process. I guess I can thank my dad for this...he refuses to leave his truck anywhere near a stray buggy at Wal-Mart, and gets very upset if you accidentally move his floor mats so that they are crooked.
