kstar- Take it from me. Being both Jewish and an Alpha Gam should NOT be a problem at ANY chapter ANY where. Boy, I have experience with that! Yes, I am both an Alpha Gam and Jewish too. In fact, I have written Suzanne Carmack Spicer about just that very thing. She responded with a really nice letter to me. Anyway, my suggestion would be a school in the northeast or in the mid-west. Or another suggestion would be a large southeastern university such as Univ. of Ala., U. of Ga., or Fla. State. I know for sure these schools have both an Alpha Gam chapter and a Hillel. Also, the towns these schools are located in have at least one synagouge. Just suggestions to try. Feel free to contact me about this.
