Well, depends. For example, if I steal your purse (
) and say GOD told me to do it, then ...ummm nope, that is sooo wrong and I totally understand your point. Now, let's say that Christians took something pagan in nature and changed everything around in such a manner that it's meaning would glorify God, then I would say yes, that's ok as long as none of God's commandments are broken.

, but I have heard similiar arguments about Christian holidays from some folks before, but yet these same folks participate in other things that detrive from the same "devilish" begininngs. (not saying that YOU do personally, but in general).
I guess I am wondering what part of Christmas is pagan? Are you talking about the use of Christmas trees, Santa, and the giving of gifts or are you talking specifically how Dec. 25 is claimed to be the actual date of the birth of Christ? If you have a website to refer me to, that would be great.
In all honestly NewBee, all in all, it is hard for me to be objective because I am a Christian and I know the even without all the presents, trees, etc. that the meaning of Christmas is still the same....or to me anyways. I know people who do not do the whole tree, Santa thing. They simply put up a nativity scene.
