I would not listen to stereotypes that people tell me. Every chapter is different and is defined by the women who are in them. I lived with three 3 AKA's during school in different years, and although I recieved an invitation to join I wasn't ready to at that time. I have known women that are AKAs who are very outgoing, nice and intelligent women, the same goes for Deltas. On the other hand I have known women in both organizations who were mean, rude or arrogant. Hell, people have said those things about my sorority at one point or another.
The same can be said of any sorority because of the members they recruit. If you want to know more about them, check out their website and post some questions there or find a chapter in the area where you live. I am sure they would be more than happy to give you some information.
