In 1998-99, ADPi decided to reduce the size of the executive boards of all chapters. The idea was to have the chapters work more like a corporation-- with various departments working together as committees and leaders. The board was cut probably by about 1/3.

As scholarship, your MEVP is your "boss" and the voice of scholarship on the Exec Board. You are allowed to go to the Exec Meetings to present Scholarship items, but your communication with your MEVP should be strong enough to keep this as a minimum. As your "boss," your MEVP should be working just as hard to promote scholarship. Your scholarship committee and scholarship plan (part of the chapter and CPD-approved TME outline) will help you to meet and exceed your scholarship goals. Good luck!
