While many, many people in government have been/are Greek, I would be very careful before quoting these statistics, which are largely Greek urban legend. The "Every U.S. President and Vice President, except two in each office, born since the first social fraternity was founded in 1825 have been members of a fraternity" has been gone over on this board many times -- misleading at best and wrong at worst. As for "76% of all Congressmen and Senators belong to a fraternity," remember that the make-up of Congress changes every two years, so unless you are sure that a statistic like this is very current, I wouldn't quote it.
