Brilliant!! I believe that unless the toilet is being used, the LID should be down. That way, when you flush, what's in there stays in there. Plus, I don't want my cats playing in the toilet. Gross.
I don't care about pillow shams either. I just use regular pillow cases on all the pillows, and wash them all with the sheets. I cared about matching stuff for a few minutes, but now I don't care. I think a bed is more comfy if everything doesn't match, and everything in my bed gets cat fur all over -- they especially like sleeping on the pillows, by my head, and they would never stay off pillow shams.
