Bill 101 (the sign law) in a nutshell - everything in Quebec must be in French: if need to have a sign in English, you must also have a sign in French which must be much bigger than the sign in english.
To kill the all Canadians speak french and english myth - I can barely speak any French - I took 13 years of the language - however I live in western Canada where everyone speaks english.
