I am no fan of Governor Bush, but I don't see how his handling of executions in his state as governor should come into play in the presidential debate. It's not like 50 governors are going to abidicate power to him and give him the right to conduct executions in their states. And federal executions? Extremely rare.
I think we need to stop "skinning and grinning" for ANY party and decide what we want and support only those who can deliver it. I agree with the post that stated that my views are more conservative (I want some more of MY money coming back to ME and MINE; I don't believe government is the answer to our people's problems, etc.), but I just can't get with the cast of characters associated with the Republican party.
I just know err'body with an opinion also has a valid, current voter's registration card and plans on using it in November, right?
