I also don't think GLO members have any special issues with trust. Most of us didn't get into this for friends and we can seperate organizational affiliations from friendships.
I dunno about this one...maybe I should say that some GLO members have been in an experience where they mistrusted someone on those basis...(?)
Despite what the media tells us, I don't think that ALL light skinned women think they're prettier than dark skinned women. As a light skinned woman (I hate speaking from personal experience b/c I know I'm not the norm) I spend a lot of my time explaining (particularly to black men) how lighter skin doesn't equal prettier. We already have a seperation between the races...let's not perpetuate seperation within the race.
Interesting....but unfortunately it is portrayed in the media as such. Although, I don't believe in #7, I am glad you responded. There is such a myth in the AmeriKKKan community that a Black woman's color is equated to her beauty. I think that this issue is deeper than this because it all goes back to the notion that being of lighter skin or darn near white or white makes you superior. This stigma has been generated in the AmeriKKKan culture since the concept of house Ni**a versus field Ni**a (mentality).
