@@Rainman: I find your radical thoughts interesting and I wanted to add a couple kind of in response to yours...

1. Hazing/pledging will always be a problem as long as it is a problem for non-NPHC orgs and for non-GLO orgs, as well.

I don't exactly understand why GLOs are expected to completely eradicate the problem of hazing/pledging ourselves when hazing/pledging exists in other realms of AmeriKKKan society. Once we address this hypocricy, people will see some consistency. As of right now, law makers are saying that hazing/pledging is illegal, but allowing sports teams and military institutions (under the guise of "military training" to learn how to protect our KKKountry) to behave as such. Doesn't make much sense to me and people will continue to haze/pledge (under different titles to make themselves think they're not doing it) if they see that it's still accepted SOMETIMES.

2. As for members being charged with 1st degree assault, that would be up to the person assaulted. I certainly don't think that charter revoking is a realistic option. If Joe assaults a perp, why should his chapter's charter get revoked? Throw Joe in jail, but unless his chapter had a meeting and plotted the thing out, leave the rest of the chapter out of it.

But, I respect you for speaking your mind on such controversial issues.
