well i'm poor, so i don't spend nearly as much as some sisters...but my dresses are usually in the $60 - $100 range....of course the key is to reuse as often as possible(eg i bought my brides maid dress for $90 couple years ago(on sale from $230!) and have since worn it at one Phi sig formal and one DX formal...and I'm sure i'll wear it again (even if i have gained 10 pounds
