I was about 9 years old and I was in my friend's house. We went into her parents bathroom and I spotted this weird toilet looking thing. I asked what it was and my friend said it was badet. I had no idea what a badet was so my friend said to me, "My mom says that it's for washing your clothes."
I went home that day and asked my mother why she didn't have a badet in her bathroom because "it would make handwashing your clothes a lot easier." My mom started cracking up and I had no clue why.
Didn't find out what a badet truly was until about a year or two later.
Oh, of course, at my ex-boyfriend's house there's a framed picture of his mother's Playboy spread from in the 1970's in the bathroom.
Not something I really wanted to look at while I was peeing.
