When I was in college, a fraternity would have a pledge star search type of competition. All of the pledge classes could perform on stage. Our pledges danced for the first two years and won both years.
The third year a fraternity decided to do a spoof of our sorority winning. I didn't see it since I was in the real world, but it was pretty funny from what I have heard. Those guys won that year. We also had greek olympics and greek tournaments. Sometimes we won. Sometimes we did not. We had our ups and downs just like every other GLO.
These events are supposed to bring attention to the greek system, raise money for our philanthropies, and attract new potential members. Sometimes these competitions unfortunately bring out negativity and disappointment. Just remember the games are supposed to bring the greek system closer to each other. You should be having fun and not feeling bad. The best situation is to have impartial judges so that everything is fair. Having written that, I hope that you win the next time!
