The racist, insensitive behavior occurs when the black face is put on. There are some things you just cannot be, let's face it. I wouldn't put on white pancake makeup and go as Alanis Morissette. I can't dress up as her, even though I worship her! They can be Venus or Serena! Put the braids on, the whole thing.
