According to news reports, they're both here illegally. She withdrew some type of abuse petition, and a judge decided that she had no other legal basis to remain here, and signed a deportation order. At this point, the only thing that could keep her in the country would be testifying at the trials, but federal attorneys have basically said they don't need her.
