I'm having the worst ever day today.

I've been interviewing with a company - the job would be an ideal way to get back into my field. They want 3 references... I gave them 3 stellar references from my last job. But they want someone from my job prior to that, and everyone I know who would give me a good reference, has left that company, and I don't have contact info for them. I'm afraid I'm going to lose this job if I don't come up with someone, or if I come up with someone who gives me a half-hearted reference.
