I think single "parents", the elderly, homosexuals, whoever, should be able to adopt a child without question
I also think English should be an official language in the US.
In agreement with LXA, remedial classes at a standard 4 year university are pointless. That is what JCs are for. In CA, if you don't pass an english and math proficency exam, you get english 1 or math a/b... they are credit/no credit and don't count for anything toward your graduation. And I know people that can't even pass those!
