Hello to all! I'm new to the boards: I'm Alicia, a Phi Mu from Baldwin-Wallace in Ohio. I was initiated last March and have loved every minute. We had our elections Nov. 3rd and I was voted the new Philanthropy director for our chapter for next year
I'll start my position in February and i'm very excited to start. The director right now is AMAZING- she's done so much to advance the philanthropy in the chapter. I just hope that i'll be able to fill her shoes.
I guess the advice i have for elections is to make sure your personality comes through in your speech and questioning. I'm a theatre major, so being in front a group of people is definitely my sort of thing, but I know for some people it can be nerve racking. Just remember- they're your sisters out there supporting you. Good luck to all running
