It is worth it to them because they always get a fabulous pledge class...even though the rest of the sororities hate them because of how dirty they play.
Well there's your answer there. I hate to say it but if your organization is suffering badly and the one sorority is succeeding so well... if you can't beat them join them. I mean, yeah yeah sororal relations and I love every sorority but if my house is shrinking rapidly and the dirty rushers grow, I'm gonna get my hands dirty. And another aspect - not to take away from your thunder, but when I was a freshmen, we viewed dirty rushing differently then we do now. COBing has caught on really big on campus - and consequently, what is viewed as 'dirty rushing' has changed. Now, mind you there are strict silence rules before formal recruitment, etc. But once is rush is over, its every girl for herself. And try to run for J Board of the IVP of Panhel position. And try to utilize your advisors to complain to Panhel Nationals.
