If you're looking to get cut ( stomach and various other parts ), do this:
First change your diet, cut out the carbs. No bread, cookies, sodas, pasta, sweets and the like ( you get the picture ). Eat mainly Protein and Veggies.
Next you need to excercise. Everbody has a different type of body. Some people can do it by simply jogging. Others have to do crunches, sit ups and leg raises.
If your stomach is distgusting, you'll probably have to do both.
Do every type of crunch. Do sit ups along with leg raises ( lay on the floor and lift your legs a few inches off the ground, hold it for different intervals....start out with 30 seconds, then 45, then 1 minute and so on and so on......
If you do some cardio, pace yourself. Start out slow and work your way up to a pace thats comfortable for you. Don't try to be a champ and run really fast and burn yourself out......the key is, to do whats right for your body.
If you follow what I said, you'll only have to do this for about 30 days before you'll be where you want to be. The problem is this, when you get to a cetain point.....you have to stop yourself. Getting in shape gets addictive.......Once you're there, stop and just keep it up....don't turn into superwoman.....that gets ugly....
If you're a guy.....don't stop...keep going....The harder your body looks, the more chicks will flock....
