Well, it's not fair that my boyfriend lost his wife and child in a car accident a few years ago. It's not fair that his family is giving him a hard time about moving on with his life and being involved with me. It's not fair that he and I are both totally aware of how quickly someone you love can be taken away from you, and as a result we now freak out if the other one is late for a date or something.
It's not fair that my best friend is six months' pregnant and may lose her job because her boss is a jerk and doesn't want to give her maternity leave.
