My thoughts exactly! I'm irritated every time I have to wait longer at the ATM because of that stupid screen asking whether I want to conduct my transaction in English or Spanish -- or when I call my doctor's office to get a prescription refilled and spend 5 minutes of my cell phone time listening to the Spanish version of the voice mail message when I already heard the English version. I'm in GEORGIA, not Mexico. If I was in Mexico, then I'd be taking some more Spanish classes so that I could function in the country properly.
I just don't believe that we should cater so much to non-English speaking people in this country -- if we'd stop putting everything in two or three languages, then folks might actually take the time to learn some basic English.
