It's pretty simple in my mind - teams that don't lose get ranked higher than those who do. Ohio State beat the Wisconsins of the world (this year's Big 10 equivalent of A&M) - fair or not, that's how the polls work . . . I do think OU should be ranked higher than Texas though, the bias against losing late (rather than in the first couple games) sucks.
Either way, tough loss for OU, they're a better team than they showed this weekend. That's why college football is fantastic - home field and momentum can make up for a lot of talent differential.
