He hasn't put as much thought into it as you. You are thinking about where the relationship will go and how it could mature if he won't enjoy a part of your life that you hold dear. He is thinking "duh, i like her." It's that simple.

I have 5 cats and obviously love animals-how could we possibly get along? I need a guys perspective on this-maybe I am just thinking about this-being a woman I guess you sould say.
