They just randomly paint that lion. They paint it themselves for big games, homecoming, initiation, etc. Everyone else trashes it. My ex is an SAE and I've asked him about the painting, what happens if you get caught...there's not much to the story. I think we all just have more fun speculating.
Did y'all see how cute it is today? ADPi raided their house for Homecoming and put a bow and pearls on the lion with red lips.
ps: when I graduate I'll be able to boast about this...
