yall need to remember these facts:
1. clinton/gore started the recession, not bush, yall sound like its bushs fault when in fact if you talk to any analyst theyll tell you it started when clinton was still in office, and you didnt see him do anything about it.
2. bill clinton was in office during the prosperity and nothing more!!!! in 1994 the republicans ran on the contract with america, which in turn got them both houses of congress. legislation passed by a republican congress was a huge part of the sucess of the economy, bill clinton merely decided to go along with it. also, some historical economists have stated that reagan's economics plans helped create the prosperity of the 90s, so theres an argument that if a republican was in during the 90s, the economy wouldve been the same.
3. also, you can place blame on the markets not doing well when investors pour large sums of money into companies who dont turn a profit, ie all the dot coms.
