Speaking of which, the only other thing I don't like about Columbus is that they are not (and never have been) very game show friendly. Meaning other than Jeopardy!, WOF, and TPIR, a lot of my favorite game shows got wee hour time slots or never aired in the Cols. market at all.

I am still mad to this day that the local NBC affiliate pre-empted High Rollers halfway through the show's run (1978-80) to air some wack-@$$ soap opera called "The Doctors" The CBS affiliate did the same thing to "Whew!" (1979-80). Oh, and the local NBC affiliate pre-empted the entire run of the "Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour" (1983-84) for "Tom & Jerry". I literally had to visit my aunt Rozina in Pittsburgh during spring break to see a week's worth of episodes (thanx, Gramma). They didn't do that with "Santa Barbara" though (the show MG/HS Hour was replaced with--7/30/84). Now I can't see "Hollywood Squares" here in Columbus b/c Fox 28 dropped it, and from what I was told, it is a LOT better now.

Sorry for the rant, but that has always been one thing I hated about Columbus, it's clockblocking attitude when it comes to airing game shows.
