I watched the Nebraska game on and off until I saw Herian catch that pass in the 4th quarter and I was glued to my TV. Emotional rollercoaster is the best way to describe it...and I was only watching on TV! Even though we lost, this game gave me so much more confidence. This weekend will be much better with Kansas, plus it's homecoming!
My Northwest Missouri State Bearcats are 9-0 and currently rated #4 in D-2. The sad thing is that since I'm so used to Nebraska football and how huge it is, I've found that with the exception of our stomping of Pitt State KS at Arrowhead a couple weeks ago (
Earp...are you over that one yet?) it's really hard to get into Bearcat football. It's fun and all, but not nearly at the same level as Nebraska football (even if they're losing). Once a Husker, always a Husker!
