This is what I know about our insignia, you can find more at the tridelta.org website

New Member Pin- Three Deltas surround an inverted delta in the middle, made out of green enamel

There are two degrees of initiation for Tri Delta and there is a pin of the second degree, a silver trident stick pin. I didn't know that this was public knowledge, but its on our public website so I felt okay about posting it. You don't get to keep the trident, they are perment chapter property, but you can purchase a gold trident guard for you stars and crecent pin, the only offical accessory for our pins

Active Pin- The pin is gold with a crecent surrounding three stars, each star with a pearl in the middle. On the crecent there are the greek letter delta delta delta, on the back of each pin is the intials, member number, and greek letter of each chapter, for me Phi Omicron. Unlike many other GLOs our badge is completely uniform, you can't upgrade or get anything different, every badge in our history is exactly the same, with very few exceptions

When can you wear your pin: Only with pin attire, no denim or casual clother, october through april you have to wear hose with open toe shoes, or close toe shoes. You are discouraged from wearing it with formal wear and never when you drinking, just as with any form of letters. Any many other pins its worn over the heart, other pins to left and below.

Do your new memeber have to wear their pins at all times: not thier new member pins, but when you recieve the trident degree you never wear that pin on the outside of your clothes, which is probably why although the website descibes the pin there isn't a picture of it, we usually tell girls to wear it on their bra strap, its only one night anyways.

Can you wear anything else with your badge: The only offical thing is the gold trident gaurd, there really aren't a lot of people who wear bangles on thier gaurds or even get gaurds, but I was one, you can get plain gold, or with a pearl on the tips of the trident.

Badge Buddy- never seen one don't know

Pendent or ring - Yes, you can do both when you go alum

Other official jewlery - There is an executive board pin with emeralds in the stars and engraving on the moon, the diamond circle and golden circle pin for 75 and 50th anniversiary of initiation. Our chapter has a beautiful presidents pin with opal instead of pearls and a gavel gaurd, not a standard issue, but beautiful.
