First, I would like to thank Maria and Lynn for your help. I just got back a little while ago from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Found. walk a little while ago. It was a lot of fun. The Univ. of Montavallo (Gamma Upsilon) Univ. of Ala (Psi) and Univ. of Ala at Birmingham (Gamma Omega) Alpha Gams were volenteers. They helped park cars and also handed out water on the walking route. Red and buff roses to them on a big job. There were literally thousands of people there and $700,000 were raised all together. I raised about $330 myself, and I could have gone on to raise more but didn't. There's always next year! After the walk, entertainment and hot dogs for lunch were provided. The weather was GREAT and the day could'nt have been any nicer!
