Name your GLO
Kappa Delta Sorority
Describe your badge and new member pin
Sorry, I can't figure out how to post a picture, so I'll just have to describe it!
First Degree pin: a white Norman shield, divided into three sections by a green triangel that bears three gold stars.
Second Degree pin: open equilateral triangle of gold superimposed upon a dagger with straight lines connecting the center of thebase with the center of each side.
Official badge: diamond-shaped black enamel bearing the dagger symbol and the letters Kappa and Delta and AOT, surrounded by yellow or white gold.
Where can you wear your badge? (does it have to be over the heart, is a suit jacket ok or does it have to be on the blouse/shirt, if you're wearing other pins (like an Order of Omega pin) do they
have to be below your badge, etc)
Must be worn over the heart, and above any other pins. If you're wearing multiple layers of clothing it must be on the outermost layer.
Do you require new members to wear their pins at all times?
No, but they're usually so excited to have them that they want to wear them all the time!
Can you attach anything to your badge? (chapter guard, etc)
Yes, chapter guards and dangles are acceptable.
Can you use a badge buddy?
I have no idea.
Can you make your badge into a pendant or ring?
Yes, if you are an alumna.
What other official jewelry does your GLO have? (president's ring, award pins, mother's/father's pins, sweetheart pins, etc)
We have special pins for Nautilus Circle (25 years of membership), White Rose Circle (50 years), Emerald Circle (60 years), and Diamond Circle (75 years).
