Name your GLO Alpha Delta Pi
Describe your badge and new member pin Our pin is a diamond gold badge with a black enamel center which pictures the clasped hands, the two stars, and the Greek letters Alpha Delta Pi. Our new member pin is a lion with the letters Beta Upsilon Alpha. I cannot find pics right now, but if another adpi can they should post them.
Where can you wear your badge? (does it have to be over the heart, is a suit jacket ok or does it have to be on the blouse/shirt, if you're wearing other pins (like an Order of Omega pin) do they have to be below your badge, etc) We wear our badge over our heart, and only when we are in pin attire (nice interview type clothing). If we are wearing multiple layers we wear it on the inner most one closest to our hearts. Also, other pins must be below the ADPi pin.
Do you require new members to wear their pins at all times? No, the new member pin, like the adpi pin must be worn only with pin attire. So generally new members only wear it to meetings and usually once a week atleast my chapter tries to all dress up and wear our pins.
Can you attach anything to your badge? (chapter guard, etc) Yes, there are chapter guards and also TCC guards, which you can attach dangles to.
Can you use a badge buddy? I have never seen an adpi use one.
Can you make your badge into a pendant or ring? Yes, once you become an alumna, you can buy settings to put your pin in. I also know one person who made it into a charm for their charm braclet after college.
What other official jewelry does your GLO have? (president's ring, award pins, mother's/father's pins, sweetheart pins, etc)
There is the presidents ring, mothers pin, crest recognition pin, alumnae recognition pin, 25 year and 50 year pin/pendent, and the adpi recognition pin.
