Name your GLO
Sigma Kappa

Describe your badge and new member pin

There are different jewels that can be used:
Pearls can be used at each point
All pearls
Alternating Pearls and rubies
Ruby point
And the National Executive Council badges are triangles with two rows of pearls and diamonds, I believe. They rock

NM pin
The pledge pin is a Greek letter Sigma shaped like a serpent intertwined through a K. In 1920 this design was officially adopted as our pledge pin.

Where can you wear your badge? (does it have to be over the heart, is a suit jacket ok or does it have to be on the blouse/shirt, if you're wearing other pins (like an Order of Omega pin) do they have to be below your badge, etc)
The pin is worn over the heart above all other pins. We used to have to wear it on the innermost shirt closest to the heart, but I think it's ok to wear it on a suit jacket or something.

Do you require new members to wear their pins at all times?
Not at all times, but they can wear it to meetings or whenver we do a chapter function where we would be properly dressed

Can you attach anything to your badge? (chapter guard, etc)
We can attach a chain with dangles for each position that we hold

Can you use a badge buddy?
A badge guard, as we called it, can either be the letters for our chapter's distinction or a coat of arms

Can you make your badge into a pendant or ring?
Yes, but only when you are an alumnae

What other official jewelry does your GLO have? (president's ring, award pins, mother's/father's pins, sweetheart pins, etc)
We have alumnae pins (small, maroon triangle with no scroll), mother's pins, 50 year pins, and violet pins
