Our badge may only be worn on an article of clothing (ie. blouse, dress, etc) and may not be worn on any other piece of fabric (ie. a jacket or a badge-buddy) and may not be transformed into any other article of jewelery (necklace, ring, etc.) whether one is an active or an alumnae.

Obviously, badge buddies are ok with SAI, although we have a similiar rule about what type of clothing the badge can and can't go on. Ours can not go on a jacket or coat, although if you're wearing a suit, it's ok to put it on the suit jacket. I remember it was so hard to keep straight, until someone explained it to me as this: the badge goes on the layer that people will see the most. If you're wearing a suit and you don't plan to take the jacket off, badge goes on the jacket. If you DO plan on taking the jacket off, badge goes on the camisole/shell/whatever.

Also, we can not wear any other badge above ours. If someone wishes to wear her SAI badge and another badge, they must be at the same level, or the SAI badge must be higher. I think there are some GLOs that say that their badge must be above all others...tricky, tricky if you wanted to wear both!

Ah, the wonderful world of badge rules!
