Okay I'm sorry, I am in the very same situation, and I'm a little pissed off right now...
ktsnake is right, you haven't really given enough information to help you out. He could have totally played you, or he could be oblivious/busy, it's really too hard to say. But I would find him, and talk to him about what's going on. That's they only way you'll find out, or at least get a better idea of what's going on.
