I first heard this same report on the Early Morning Show which stated,"Jam Master Jay is the latest in a line of hip-hop artists to fall victim to violence. Rappers Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur were murdered within seven months of each other in 1996 and 1997 - crimes that some believe were the result of an East Coast-West Coast rap war."
Now why does a rapper murdered in N. Y. has to be in the same breath of a EC-WC rap war? C'mon C'mon now!
This is so sad he was truly a pioneer in the (black) music culture.
