car question
okay..kind of a dumb question, but how absolutely necessary is it to have your car serviced/oil changed every 3000 miles? i do mostly highway driving and am planning on driving 500 miles to see my boy this weekend..but car is already past the 3000 mile point for service..would my car break down or something if i put it off a little longer or should i definately make sure i get this done before i go?
if it makes a difference i drive a 99 civic
